Family Assistance
Womanline has a long history of supporting parents of young children. Though our mission has changed over the years, and we no longer provide the many family services we once did, we still help out parents with such basic items as formula, baby food, diapers, and clothing vouchers. Since most of these items are donated to us by generous individuals, groups, and area agencies, we have to limit what we can offer.
A family may obtain help twice a year for each child in the family. Because, we receive minimal other financial support for the program, we do charge a fee of $2.00 per visit.

Help A Family In Need
We can use your assistance helping families. Items that are most often requested are:
Diapers
Formula
Baby Food
Children's Clothing
Adult Clothing
We do accept donations of adult clothing, but because we do not have the space to store them, we send them on to Corner Cupboard, a local thrift store in East Dayton. Each month Corner Cupboard provides us with vouchers, which we give to our Family Assistance clients.
Other Childcare Items
As with adult clothing, we do not have space for such things as baby strollers, high chairs, etc. We will accept these, but send them to either Corner Cupboard or St. Vincent DePaul. You may wish to take such items directly to these organizations.
