Womanline building

We are located in the historic Oregon District

Womanline is located at 301 East Sixth Street in a house built by the Kratochwill Brothers in 1864. These two brothers built and operated a flour mill next door, now home to Jay's Restaurant. The building was a duplex with an identical layout for the families of the two brothers.  Over the years the building has had many uses, for a period of time housing numerous families. Renovation of the building began in the 1970's when “urban pioneers” began to bring back to life the historical homes in the Oregon District. Womanline purchased the building in 1996 and made enough structural changes to the interior to accommodate the agency's operations, while retaining the charm and warmth of the original home.

We are located conveniently on East Sixth Street, just a short distance from Patterson Boulevard. Turn left off Sixth Street into the Oregon Business District Guest Parking lot.  Park wherever you like. You may also use the entrance to the Guest Parking lot off Fifth Street, just east of the railroad trestle.

You are welcome to come visit our historic building at any time. Just call ahead, 233-3446.
