Womanline earns national accreditation

The Council on Accreditation's program of quality improvement is designed to identify providers that have set high performance standards for themselves and have a commitment to their constituents to deliver the very best quality services.  Womanline received accreditation in three service areas: Outpatient Mental Health for its Clinical Services; Child and Family Development for the From Day One program; and Counseling Support and Education for the I Can Tell program.

In addition to meeting standards for its services, the agency had to meet standards for governance, ethical practice, financial management, human resource management, administrative service environment, client rights, behavioral support and management, and performance and quality assurance.

Earning COA accreditatoin is the first step in Womanline's plan to be certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and become a Medicaid service provider through the ADAMHS Board of Montgomery County.  This opens the door to Medicaid eligible clients who have not used the agency's counseling services in the past.

Elizabeth Reigner appointed new Director of Clinical Services

She spent fifteen years working in the Cleveland area before moving to southern Ohio. Prior to assuming the position at Womanline, Ms. Reigner had been Master Clinical Service Provider with Passages for Young Women at Talbert House in Cincinnati.
