Welcome to Womanline Counseling Center

Today, more than ever women face challenges that affect their daily lives and the lives of others around them. For some women it's the challenge of balancing career and family responsibilities—parenting or caring for elderly parents. For others, it’s the challenge of working through life transitions—death of a loved one, separation, or divorce. And for some, it’s dealing with the effects of sex abuse that occurred in their childhood, such as depression or anxiety. 

As we have been for the past forty years, we are here as a resource to all women, no matter what challenges they face. Click here to learn more about our counseling services.

For the past twenty years, we have also been working hard to protect the community’s children from becoming the victims of sex abuse, and becoming in their adult years the women we treat in our counseling program. Click here to learn more about how we are helping to protect children from abuse.

Eating Disorders Program

We are in the beginning stages of developing a program to address the serious problem of eating disorders. The Dayton area, not unlike many other similar urban areas in the country, has limited resources for persons with eating disorders. Many people have to travel out of the area for help. Our program will begin with a combination of education for the community, outpatient services, and assistance to those who need help outside of the Dayton area. Future development of the program will be underway over the next twelve months.

We are currently looking for professionals to get this program up and running and continuing to provide services. The two part time positions are Care Manager and Health Educator. To read the position discription click on name above.
